Quest: The Final Frontier

Orion dug a hand into a waterproof pouch and took out two small slices of bread. He handed one to Leroy, who was next to him on the large plank. " Here, keep your energy up, theres not much to do. We are in the sea's hands, go where the current brings us." Oreo, Orion's pet wolf came paddling to the plank and hoped onto it.

"Interesting. I didn't know wolves could swim."

" I trained Oreo to swim, incase there was wood from ships that were smashed that were going to shore, Oreo would retrieve them for me without me having to wait a long time for them to get to the shore." Oreo jumpped into the water and a few minutes later appeared, with a fish in his mouth. Orion took the fish and using magic, cooked the fish. " Want some?" Orion asked Leroy as he tried the cooked fish.

"No tank you. I think I will pass on that delicacy."

" Sure, and starve to death?" Orion ate some of the fish and gave the rest to Oreo. Orion took out a small piece of bread. " Here you go then."

"That is better." Leroy said and ate the bread.

" What is so wrong about fish?" Orion asked as he chewed on a piece of bread with fish.

"I have never enjoyed the taste of dead things."

" I see... So you are a vegetarian almost?" Orion looked into the pouch with had bread. " Only three slices left." Orion told him. " Do you have a waterskin?"

"Yes, and yes." Leroy said in response to the two questions. He handed Orion a nearly full waterskin.

" I don't need one. I have an extra one. Both are full." Orion told Leroy as he looked around. " Hey look theres a ship over there." Orion gestured to the horizon. Orion noticed the pirate flag that waved clearly in the sky. " Ready for some fighting Leroy?"

Actually, the pirate ship was headed by Draylon. When he had gone under, he had stabbed the dragon repeatedly, eventually, the dragon had died. Draylon floated the the nearby island, unconscious. When he had arrived there, he had lay on the sand until he heard digging. He had seen pirates, digging for treasure, with their leader looking at a map, pointing at a very deep empty hole, and scratching his head. "Ahoy, matey. It seems to me that ye be looking fer sum treasure. Can I beh of enay help teh ye?" Draylon said, after putting on his fake eyepatch. He had been able to practice his pirate accent on Leroy's ship.
"Aye, that ye can. We can't figure out the map." The captain said. Draylon walked over to the map, took it, and turned it upside down. "This mae woerk betta." He hiked to the far end of the island, with the pirate crew following him. Then he had pointed out a spot, where the treasure was found. The captain offered his position to Draylon, under the condition that the current captain became first mate. Draylon accepted the offer, and set sail, when Orion spotted him.

Orion, not knowing Draylon was aboard, jumpped onto the ship and climbbed the side, stabbing the nearest pirate he saw. He toppled over the raillings and Orion leapt on, still not seeing Draylon. Orion stabbed another pirate and the pirates started swarming him.

OOC- Can I kill them?

OOC: Leave me a few, I just got us all a ride out of here, a chest full of treasure, and a full crew. On second though, leave more than a few.
BiC: Draylon ran out of his quarters to see what the commotion was about. He saw Orion killing his men. He thought quickly, and bellowed: "Next person who attacks gets kehauled! This means you, Orion!" He drew his new cutlass and threw it at Orion's feet. "And we're pirates? You're the one attacking a vessel for no reason."

Orion stabbed his sword into the ground, he had slain five men, most who were doing jobs like washing the deck and scrubbing windows. " What if this wasn't your ship? If i had walked in here without a weapon I would have been slain instantly."

Leroy climbed aboard the ship, waved to Draylon, and noticed that everyone was killing people, and though he might join in. So, he drew his sword, stabbed a couple pirates, but realized that it was a boring fight. They didn't fight back! So, he sat against the side of the boat, and watched Draylon, waiting.

Orion leaned on the wall, waiting for Draylon to do or say something.

"Orion, do you know how he convinced them to let him be their leader?"

"Let me tell you. But first, I've lost too many men as it is. Tie them up." Pirates flanked both Orion and Leroy, and tied them both to the stern. "Forgive me, just a precaution. And don't try and get out. Orion, remember how you tied me up and I escaped? These guys tied me with some yarn and I couldn't get free. Don't ask why they did that. Long story. Anyway, I helped these guys get thousands of gold pieces. Along with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, pearls, and silver. I didn't take any, but next chest we find I'll get a fair share from."

OOC- Hey, how come you can make our characters get tied up... By the way I can burn through the ropes if you hadn't noticed.

BIC- Orion burned the ropes holding his feet and stretched him. " No need to tie us up Draylon. Your fault for sailing under a pirate flag." Orion burned the rest of the ropes and continued leaning against the wood, kicking at any pirate who tried to tie him up.

Leroy stayed calmly in the ropes. "Draylon dear boy, I am famished.Do you have any food to munch on? And also, in this position I cannot reach my waterskin!"

Orion sighed and burned Leroy's ropes in a few seconds. " Draylon, we don't mean any harm, no need to tie us up." Orion tossed Leroy the remaining bread from the pouch and leaned back on the wall.

OOC- How I can tie you up? This isn't some roving sailor crew with oversized toothpicks and a jolly roger. These guys have lived at sea for most of their lives. They are thiefs, and they're sailors. This is a full crew. I't about 30 men. Well, now it's 20.
BIC: "We stocked up on the island. However, we have a long way to go. The next chest is way east of here, so we need a lot of food. We are using half-rations." Draylon said.

"Oh dearie me that does sound unpleasant..." Leroy said, grimacing visibly. BUt nevertheless, he ate the bread with speed.

" Well, I'll spear fish." Orion said as he tied a rope to a spear and flung it at a dark shape in the water. Orion pulled out a white bass half the size of him.
