Quest: The Adventurer's Potion

" Why do we have to find a swamp?"

"Because I like swamps. NO of course not! That is where the flower grows you dimwit!"

" Are you sure?" Orion asked. Orion went over to a map in the center of the town. " Looks like there is a swamp, but bandits live there."

"Well, that will make it all the more enjoyable. Let us be off. Orion, you lead the way, you seem to know where to go."

Orion nodded and looked at the map he had drawn on paper as he walked forward. " There should be a shortcut right about he-" Orion has been looking down at the paper and hit the signboard that showed the path where the shortcut was. " Here..."

"Alright. But I see no shortcut."

" Over here, if we go this way we will get to the edge of a cliff that his is on. All we have to do is climb down the cliff to the swamp. The long was we have to go down a path over there." Orion pointed off to a flag a long way away.

"Alright, then let us go. You may lead the way."

" According to this terrain map there should be a crack that fits about three people that leads all the way to the bottom of the cliff. It should be right here." Orion looked down, straight through the crack to the bottom. " That looks like a long way." Orion took outsacks filled with flour and attached them to his chest, back and feet. " Well, good luck." Orion jumpped into the crack, the sacks of flour protecting him from grinding against the walls of rock. The sack on his feet broke the fall and Orion was unharmed, but stuck. " Uhhh I'm kinda stuck, I can barely move." With a free hand Orion moved so he was lying down on his stomach with all the sacks on his back, head and legs. " Jump down with sacks on ur stomach and side, I'l break the fall."

Leroy tied the sacks of flour around his body in many places, and leaped down. He fell right on Orion, and was then thoroughly drenched in flour. He and Orion were white as ghosts.

" Now then, Out we go. Er Leroy mind moving to your side out of the crack, I'm kinda stuck."

"No problem" Leroy said, and lurched himself out of the crack. "My my, if a bandit were to see us right now they would be so frightened. Oh. We might have come across a good defense mechanism!"

Orion crawled out of the crack. " Maybe we should wait til night to give em a fright."

Leroy smiled at the thought. "Yes. Even if just for a good laugh."

Orion sat down and leaned against the rock wall. Looking around for bandits. " Over there. I see a fire." Orion pointed to a fire over to their left. It was getting dark, actually it was pitch black accept for them and the fire. " Lets go eh?"

"Okay." Leroy said, and got up. He started walking towards the fire.

Orion cut off very broad leaves and tied them together, acting as a camoflauge. He put it in front of Leroy and himself as they walked into camp. When they had gone in he would lower it so it looked like they appeared from nowhere.

Leroy walked up behind the camo, ready to strike.

Orion drew his sword as the approached. With a heave, Orion threw the entire camoflague into the fire. The fire rose high and the bandits moved away, afraid as they saw two white figures on the other side of the fire. Orion walked into the fire, the fire did not burn him as he was used to flames on his skin.

Leroy walked forward, though not into the fire. The bandits (there were probably 25 of them) all stared at the 'ghosts' which had just appeared. Leroy thought up something on the spot. "Hello you all. I am the aid to the man you see burning. He is the embodiment of the Fire Lord himself. Unfortunately, he is not human, so he does not have human coloring. We spotted your fire, and thought it would be a perfect spot for his lordship to rejuvenate. I hope you respect him, for he is one of the most powerful gods." Leroy finished his speech and became silent. He hoped that Orion would go along with this act.

Orion rose his arms into the air and said in a deep voice. " I am the Great Fire Lord Niron!" With his last words, Orion cast out two pillars of fire from his hands into the air. " You shall obey me as I am the great lord. UNDERSTOOD?" He asked in a daring voice.

Leroy had to suppress a giggle.

OOC: You can do the bandits as well you know...

OOC- I know, I had go.

BIC- The bandits all nodded silently, all the while moving backwards away from the figure. " Tell me, Ridran, what shall we do with the bandits? Burn them? Toast them? Fry them? Bake them? Your choice on this one." The bandits faces were clearly scared as they waited for the aid's reply.

Leroy again almost laughed, but stopped himself. "In my opinion, we should send them out to tell every other group of bandits to leave the area."

" Yes, that is what we shall do. Now you subjects and peasants! Tell your friends and bandits to be gone from here, or they will taste death." Orion cast a orb of fire around a terrified bandit, frying his hair until he was bald.
