Eastern plains

Nathan was out in the eastern plains. Dagger at the ready, waiting for anyone who happened to walk by with a pouch full of mony, or any fat animal he could catch for dinner. Crouching low, he waited for anyone to show up.

Orion hummed to himself as he walked down the path towards his house from the market. It was a sucessful day and he had five large bags of gold with him. Orion continued to walk and soon rested for lunch on a rock.

OOC:Five large bags? Uh-oh Orion...

BIC:

Spying Orion strolling caussally somewhere, Nathan fell flat on his belly and slowly inched forward, dagger at the ready. When he came to a point in the road which he knew Orion would pass by very soon, he crouched, waiting for Orion to pass.

"HALT!" Leroy shouted, putting a blade to Nathan's neck. Leroy was backed by 5 guardians. They made a fine party, all in shining armor. All swords outstretched. "Orion, I believe that this man was about to steal from you. What do you wish for his punishment?"

Orion turned around and jumpped back by sudden blindness of the sun reflecting off the shining armor straight into his eyes. " Deal however you deal with theives." Orion simply said as he covered his eyes from the sun.

"The penalty for street side thievery is death. Nathan, can you explain your actions?"

" I can for him." Draylon walked up. "He is a rouge. He steals to survive. If you want to let him live, then let his steal. Me? I'm an assassin/mercenary/rouge. I steal when I choose to. I, however, have other sources of income. If you outlaw roadside thievery, then you are outlawing all rouges who just want to survive. Do you want that?"

"Yes I do. Thieves are the lowest form of people."

"No lower than yourself." Draylon drew his dagger.

" Well, to come to the matter at hand. I think Nathan should just be put in prison until I decided what to do."

"I had something else in mind. I will let him go, if he agrees that once he is a great person, he may join the Order of Guardians."

OOC:
This means that once you get to 175 posts, you need to join the guardians.

" Well, do whatever you want."

"I din't actually steal anything yet. Not too mention that I don't steal from really poor people and even when I steal from rich people it isn't much."

OOC: Has anyone noticed that LeRoy is trying really hard to put Nathan in prison on all the topics?

OOC- Same with Draylon. Lol Leroy is trying to catch all the theives.

"I find that being forced become a guardian may increase your paycheck somewhat, as you get more recruits. If I may say so myself, that sounds like blackmail." Draylon said. "And to make matters worse, if he's a guardian, then he becomes susceptible to everyone else. That's the only reason I'm a rouge, and not a full time mercenary. To many rules."

Nathan, will you PLEASE spell my name Leroy, not LeRoy. Its really getting on my nerves.

BIC:
"You all. I know you haven't stolen anything. Yet. I am against thievery but I am willing to cut a deal with you. I will be willing to turn away when I see you stealing, if you agree never to steal from anyone (including me) who belongs to the Guardian Order. Agreed?"
